Whoo for new art! Im loving Lady Gaga at the moment and wanted to do a portrait of her. Talking of music, yesterday i went to the Big Day Out. I went mainly to see Muse and Lily Allen who were both amazing. Im a very musical person, not only do i enjoy listening to music like a lot of people *lol* but i also play the piano and guitar *and i like singing but im not good at it OTL*. So music does inspire my art, even if it is drawing the musician which i do a lot if you haven’t noticed hahaha.

I go back to school in one week -_- it sucks, i really don’t want to start year 12! oh well better get it started so it can end soon. Everyone in year 12 at my school has to do a major works, which is a project you do all year of your choice which has to be accepted by the teachers and then you present it at the end of the year. You can probably guess what im doing already! if you guessed digital paintings your correct ^_~ hehe. I have to have a ‘theme’ of some sort and i think im going to do the seven planets and do an illustration on each planet to portray each one which i think will be fun.

Its that time of year again! Christmas and New Years have both passed us already and were in the year 2010. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years! Mine were both good, although i did nothing special for new years it was alright. I know i haven’t posted in awhile so i thought i should. I get into stages where i just don’t do any art, i get totally uninspired. But then i can get right back into it again! its kinda weird, and very annoying. Im in the ‘not doing any art’ stage right now.

I watched the movie Avatar the other week, and although the story line was very predictable i really liked the movie. Visually it was stunning and very inspiring to me, i want to be able to create art that beautiful! I would also like to be one of the Na’vi and live on Pandora with them, thats why i decided to open photoshop and make myself look like one of them i only did a rough job on a low quality image but you get the picture, i might try again with a better photo.
